About the course

What is the ISSA Sail Offshore Skipper?

The ISSA Sail Offshore Skipper is one of the most widely recognised sailing licences in the world. It qualifies you to skipper sailing yachts up to 24 metres at distances of up to 100 nautical miles from shore, both during the day and at night.

Unlike many national licences, the ISSA certificate is recognised internationally — accepted by charter companies in Croatia, Greece, the Caribbean, the Canary Islands, and over 100 countries worldwide. It never expires.

At Good Skipper, you train on the real Atlantic Ocean from day one — not a lake or a harbour. Our Beneteau Oceanis 411 Clipper YOLO gives you genuine offshore experience in conditions that build real confidence.
